17 Cops To Receive Police Medal For Gallantry On R-Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Dr SC Jamir will decorate as many as 17 police officers with Police Medal for Gallantry at the Investiture Ceremony on Republic Day at Jayadev Bhawan here.

Besides, Additional SP, Special Branch, Bhubaneswar Rabindra Kumar Mohapatra has been chosen for the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

The Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Police Training will be bestowed upon Inspector, BPSPA, Bhubaneswar Seemarekha Panda, Havildar, BPSPA, Bhubaneswar Bimal Kumar Tamang and Havildar, BPSPA, Bhubaneswar Arun Kumar Panda.
