Bhubaneswar: A total of 17 Maoists were killed in Odisha in 2020, Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra told the Assembly on Saturday.
Making a statement during zero hour, the minister said 16 Maoists were killed in encounters with security personnel and one was killed by locals.
During the same period, 34 Maoists were arrested while 21 had surrendered to police, he added.
