Cuttack: An education institution near Madhupatna in Cuttack city saw 17 students testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) sources, 32 swab samples were sent for RT-PCR test on Wednesday and 17 among them were found to be positive.
Contact tracing of the infected students will be carried out on Saturday and they will undergo rapid antigen tests, the sources added.
Earlier, 24 students and a cook of a private college in Millennium City were found infected.

These students are under quarantine at the college hostel, which was shut for 10 days to contain the virus spread.
In Sonepur, six Plus II students of a college at Binika tested positive following RT-PCR and rapid antigen tests on Friday.
