Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered cases in the state went past 52,000 on Saturday as 1773 more patients recuperated and were being discharged from different hospitals.
Of the day’s additional cases, 254 were from Khurda, 216 from Ganjam, 147 from Cuttack and 125 from Sambalpur, according to Health and Family Welfare departrment.
Similarly, 92 cases were reported from Kandhamal, 87 from Jajpur, 80 from Mayurbhanj, 77 from Rayagada, 74 from Puri, 72 from Malkangiri, 69 from Koraput, 68 from Sundargarh, 58 from Balasore and 51 from Nayagarh district.
According to the department, 38 recovered cases each were reported from Kalahandi and Keonjhar while Baragarh had 32 cases, Gajapati 30, Balangir 26, Bhadrak 25, Nabarangpur 23, Kendrapada 22, Dhenkanal 20, Jharsuguda 19, Jagatsinghpur 15, Angul 7, Nuapada and Sonepur 4 each.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 52,276,
