Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has expanded COVID-19 vaccination for the 18-44 age group to 22 district headquarters, municipalities and NACs.
The state will receive 6,45,790 doses of Covishield this month in three tranches. It will be distributed among the districts basing on their list of beneficiaries, to start the first dose vaccination, Additional Chief Secretary PK Mohapatra stated in a letter on Sunday.
The drive which is underway, will be given to on priority to students and athletes who will be going abroad, stated the letter.

There are a total of 17,93,394 beneficiaries in the listed districts, municipalities and NACs, the letter mentions.

A total of 910 sessions have been planned for June 7 (Monday). The vaccine stock status with the state government is as follows:
