Cuttack: As many as 197 COVID-19 positive cases were reported from different parts of the city on Thursday.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), of the new cases, 59 belonged to institutional quarantine centres, 49 to home quarantine and 89 were local contacts,
Among the local contacts, 6 cases were reported from Bidanasi and 5 each from Ranihat and Tulasipur.
Similarly, among home quarantine patients, 5 each were from Mahanadi Vihar, Banagali Sahi and Kathagada Sahi.
With the day’s figure, the total positive cases in the city went up to 7093. While 4970 patients have recovered, 31 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2092 active cases at present.
