Bhubaneswar: To the relief of the customers who had booked Ola Electric scooters, the company has stated that it has started deliveries of its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
Confirming the deliveries, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola Electric in a tweet said the company has dispatched the vehicles who had purchased. “Some scooters are in transit, most are getting through RTO registration. The registration process took longer than we anticipated as a fully digital process is new for all,” he said in the tweet.
Earlier, Ola Electric had claimed that it had received orders for scooters worth ₹ 1,100 crore.
The Ola S1 is priced at Rs 1 lakh while the S1 Pro will cost Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom price). The base model of S1 can go at a top speed of 90 kmph with 121 km on single charge, as per the company’s claim.
