Bhubaneswar: The first phase of the Budget Session of Odisha Assembly concluded on Wednesday as the House was adjourned till March 10 after disruption of proceedings amid uproar.

The Budget Session commences on February 21. While the Economic Survey was tabled on February 23, the annual state budget for 2023-24 was presented by Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari in the house on February 24.
The session, being held in two phases, is scheduled to conclude on April 6.
While the first phase of the 12th session of the 16th Assembly concluded on Wednesday, the second phase is scheduled to be conducted between March 10 and April 6, sources said.
