Bhubaneswar: In another incident of collection of Ganesh Puja donation in Odisha’s twin cities, police have arrested two persons.
According to sources, the Commissionerate Police had received complaints of forcible collection of donation from the area near the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar. A patrolling team from Khandagiri police station arrested the two youths from the area.
The police team also seized Rs 2,050 and two receipt books from the arrested youths, the sources said.
On Tuesday, two persons sustained critical injuries in a violent clash between two groups over collection of donation for Ganesh puja in Cuttack city. The police had detained two persons in this connection.
