Bhubaneswar: Two assistant fisheries officers have been suspended by the Odisha government for negligence and irregularities in duty.
The officers who have been placed under suspension are Tapan Kumar Mahapatra, working in Soroda block and Suryakanta Barik, working in Seragarh block, both in Ganjam district.
As per the official orders issued by the Fisheries and ARD Department, the headquarters of the two officers are fixed at the department in Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar during the period of suspension.
They will draw subsistence allowance in accordance with the relevant rules during the period of suspension.
