2 Bike-Borne Men Slit Class X Student’s Throat In Odisha’s Athagarh

Cuttack: A Class X students suffered serious injuries in his neck after two bike-borne miscreants allegedly attacked him with knife at Athagarh in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Surya Narayan Das, son of Mahendra Das of Udaypur village within Athagarh police limits.

According to sources, the incident took place when the student stopped at a shop to buy biscuits while returning home after tuition. Both the miscreants had their helmets on.

Following the incident, the student was taken to a nearest hospital for treatment. His family members later lodged a complaint at Athagarh Police Station in connection with the incident.

The exact reason behind the attack is still unclear.
