Sundargarh: Two participants of a bike rally held on the occasion of Ram Navami were killed after their motorcycle dashed against a trailer truck in Talsara area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Wednesday.
As per information, the incident took place near a filling station at Tumulia under Talsara police limits in Sundargarh.
The deceased have been identified as Bastab Majhi (17) and Abhimanyu Baa (18) of Subdega area in the district.
Sources said some locals had organised a bike rally from Balisankara to Subdega to celebrate the Ram Navami. After the motorcycle of the two collided with a heavy truck during the rally, both died on the spot.
The incident triggered tension in the locality.
