2 Critical In Series Accident Caused By OSAP Jawan’s Car In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: At least two persons were critically injured in a series accident after being hit by a vehicle driven by a security personnel allegedly in an inebriated condition in Odisha’s Cuttack.

According to preliminary information, the mishap took place when a jawan of the Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP) was moving in a vehicle along with two other associated in high speed near Naraj in Cuttack late on Sunday.

Locals said the vehicle hit two bikes and a cycle causing injuries to at least two persons. They claimed that the vehicle was moving at a very high speed in a dangerous manner.

On being informed, a team of police personnel visited the site and the OSAP jawan, identified as Jayant Sethy, has been detained.

Some liquor bottles and other articles have been seized from the vehicle and further investigation is underway.
