Bhubaneswar: The two-day workshop of the BJD’s district observers was inaugurated in the city on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, party leader Debi Prasad Mishra called upon the district observers to strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots by making people aware about various public welfare schemes and the good work being done by the state government.
He said that the party activists should also effectively counter the misinformation campaign by opposition political parties.
The agenda of discussion of the meeting included central negligence and awareness regarding Ama Gaon Ama Vikash Programme.
About 600 district observers would take part in the two-day workshop, party sources said.
