Puri: In a tragic incident, two persons were killed as the motorcycle they were riding rammed into an electric pole near Sakhigopal in Odisha’s Puri district.
The mishap reportedly took place due to poor visibility caused by thick fog at Bhandari Danda on Sakhigopal-Indipur main road late on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Lipun Senapaty, Aditya Padhi.
According to sources, the two were travelling by bike when the tww-wheeler vehicle rammed into a roadside electric pole. Both reportedly died on the spot.
On being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the bodies. The Police have started investigation into the incident.
