Sambalpur: Two people were killed after a passenger bus collided with a bike near Paramanapur under Sasan police limits in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Saroj Nayak of Kusanapuri and Sabita Nikhandia of Dungerpali. The duo died on the spot after a bus coming from opposite direction collided with their bike.
According to sources, soon after the accident, the bus driver surrendered before Ainthapali police personnel who registered a case and have seized the vehicle.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for autopsy.
