2 die as fishing boat capsizes in Jambhira Dam

Mayurbhanj: Two people drowned after a fishing boat capsized in Jambhira Dam under Chandua police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Raghunath Tudu and Dula Besra of Anlakuda village in the district.
Police launched a search operation and fished out the bodies. The mishap occurred when the duo had gone for fishing in deep waters.
Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the boat might have overturned due to strong waves or bad weather, a police officer said.
