Bhubaneswar: The services of two Express trains from Odisha’s Puri town will resume services in the first week of this month.
According to a press release, the South Eastern Railway (SER) will run 22890/22889 Puri-Digha-Puri Weekly Express from Puri from August 6 and from Digha from August 7. Similarly, 12278/12277 Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express will run from October 2, 2022 on both directions.
22890 Puri-Digha Express will leave Puri every Saturday at 9.05 pm and reach Digha at 6.35 am next day. In the return direction, the train will leave Digha every Sunday at 5.25 pm and arrive at Puri at 2.55 am next day.
12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express will leave Puri daily at 5.45 am and reach Howrah at 1.45 pm on same day. In the return direction, the train will leave Howrah at 2.15 pm and arrive at Puri at 9.50 pm.
It may be noted that the services of the two trains were suspended following shut-down in the wake of COVID pandemic.
