Bhubaneswar: Two persons were feared missing after their boat capsized in Odisha’s Chilika lake on Sunday.
According to sources, three men had gone in a country boat for fishing in the lake on the day. The boat started to swing violently in deep water due to heavy wind and rain. As they failed to steady the boat, it capsized at Kalijaikuda near Gambharigaon.
On being informed, Fire personnel were deployed in search and rescuing operation of the missing people. Fortunately, one of the three persons managed to swim across the lake and reached the shore.
The details were awaited as the search operation was going on at the time of reporting.
