2 Female Tenants Thrashed By House Owner, Sons In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A high voltage drama was witnessed in Kharvela area of Bhubaneswar over a dispute between the owner of a house and two women tenants on Wednesday.

As per information, the owner of the house where a hostel is being run and his sons allegedly thrashed two female tenants over some dispute. A video of the scene has gone viral on social media platforms.

In the video, the hostel owner and his two sons were seen assaulting the two female tenants with wooden logs and tires.

The house owner alleged that the tenants had not been paying the rent for the past few months. He further claimed that the women were not leaving the hostel despite his repeated requests.

This incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the hostel and this video has gone viral now.

After getting information about the incident, a police team reached the hostel and started an investigation. Two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, a senior police official said.
