Bhawanipatna: Two persons including a minor lost their lives as their bike rammed into a roadside tree in Odisha’s Kalahandi on Tuesday.
According to sources, 22-year-old Debraj Bhoi and 15-yer-old Abhay Dora of Alim village under Palam police limits in the district had gone to a nearby vegetable market in the morning. While they were returning home, the bike driver lost control and the bike hit a roadside tree.
As both of them were seriously injured in the accident, the locals rushed them to a hospital at the community health centre (CHC) in Kesinga. But the doctors declared them brought dead.
On being informed, a team from Kesinga police station including OIC went to the spot. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
