Bhubaneswar: Two persons sustained injuries when some unidentified persons allegedly hurled bomb at them in the city on Thursday.
According to police sources, the miscreants attacked one of the two persons with sharp weapon and later hurled bomb at them at Azad Nagar of Sundarpada under Airfield police limits, leaving them critically injured.
Later, the injured persons filed a complaint at the police station and police have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
Though the exact reason of the attack has not been ascertained, the sources suspected it to be a fallout of rivalry between two groups of villagers over selection of village committee president.
