Puri: At least two persons sustained injuries after a miscreant hurled crude bombs at a two-wheeler repair workshop near Baliguali area along Puri-Konark road.
The accused, identified as Kanha Das, was arrested by Puri Marine police, in connection with the incident that took place on Friday night. A bike has been seized from him.
As per preliminary information, Kanha’s uncle had earlier repaired his bike at the workshop, but he had not made any payment to the garage owner. When Kanha visited the workshop to repair his bike on Friday, the owner asked him to pay his uncle’s money.
The accused left the place without making any payment. He went to the site in the night and hurled two bombs at the workshop.
The video of the incident has been captured by the CCTV camera installed nearby the place.
The injured persons were rushed to the nearby medical immediately. Their health condition is reportedly stable.
Upon being informed, Puri Marine police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the incident. Accused Kanha has been arrested and further investigation into the incident is currently underway, informed police.
