2 Kids Among Seven Injured In Car Crash On Cuttack-Paradip Road

Jagatsingpur: Seven persons, including two children, sustained critical injuries after two cars collided head-on on Cuttack-Paradip road near Sarala Road Chhak in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Saturday.

According to sources, the accident took place when the driver of one of the vehicles lost control over the wheels and rammed into the other four-wheeler. Both the vehicles were badly mangled in the crash.

Some local residents rescued the victims from their cars and rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two among them were later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

The identity of the victims is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
