Sundargarh: Two persons were killed while another suffered grievous injuries when the car in which they were travelling dashed against a roadside tree on Sambalpur-Rourkela National Highway in Sundargarh district late on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Roshan Nayak (20), a resident of Masanikani and Supriya Patel (19) of Bhedabahal area in the district.
Arati Nayak, who was injured in the mishap, has been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident took place after the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle reportedly due to over speeding.
