Keonjhar: Two persons were killed and one was injured when a vehicle hit an auto near Kandara village under Joda police limits in Keonjhar district on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Mithun Nayak and Jambu Mahakud.
The injured person has been identified as Kunkuli Mahakud. They all belong to Gidhibasa village under Baria police limits.
According to sources, Kunkuli’s father was ill, following which, they were going to Bileipada village in an auto. The accident took place near Kandara village.
They were rushed to the Keonjhar district headquarters hospital in a critical condition.
Doctor declared auto driver Mithun and Jambu dead there.
Investigation into the incident is on.
