Cuttack: Two persons were killed and three injured in lightning strikes in Cuttack district on Tuesday.
The identity of the deceased person is yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, the two persons died after being struck by lightning while they working in a paddy field at Palala village under Nischintakoili block in Salipur.
Likewise, three persons were injured in lightning strike at Ramakrushnapur village in the district.
Locals rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
