Dhenkanal: At least two persons were killed and seven others critically injured in a mishap at a private steel plant in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Monday.
As per preliminary information, the mishap took place when a mechanical structure fell on the staff at the plant located in Jhadabandha area of the district.
While at least two persons were killed, seven others sustained critical injuries in the mishap.
The injured persons have been admitted to a hospital for treatment and their condition was stated to be critical.
No senior official of the company was immediately available to comment on the incident.
The circumstances in which the mishap took place are still not clear. Further details are awaited.
