Nabarangpur: Two persons were killed and one injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a tree in Odisha’s Nabarangpur on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Jalandhar Bhatra of Pilika village and Shiv Bhatra of Kharki village in the district.
Another youth, Narahari Behera who sustained critical injuries has been hospitalised, sources said.
The three were reportedly riding a motorcycle to Pilika village when the rider lost control and crashed into a nearby tree, sources added.
Jalandhar and Shiv were declared dead at Nabarangpur district headquarters hospital. Local police has registered a case in this connection and seized the two-wheeler.
