Bhawanipatna: Two persons were killed and two others seriously injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Sunday.
As per reports, the accident took place when two persons coming from Khapramal collided head-on with the other bike coming from opposite direction on Khapramal-Behera road under Koksara police limits in the district in the afternoon.
As all the four persons were seriously injured in the accident, the locals rushed them to the hospital at Parla. But the doctors in the hospital declared two of them dead. Later, the two other injured persons were shifted to a government hospital in Dharamgarh as their condition deteriorated.
The deceased were identified as Jitendra Durga of Musapali village and Pabitra of Dahagaon village in the district. The injured persons were Gupteswar Bagh and Jitendra Sagar from Nuagaon village.
On being informed, a team from Koksara police station went to the spot and started investigation. They also sent the bodies for post-mortem.
