Berhampur: Two persons died and three were injured in an explosion in a crusher unit at Kukudakhandi under Sadar police limits in Berhampur city on Monday morning.
While one person died on the spot following the sudden blast, another succumbed to the injuries at Kukudakhandi hospital during treatment.
The three critically injured have been referred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
The identity of the deceased and the injured is yet to be established.
An LPG cylinder kept in a shed near the crusher unit is being suspected to have caused the blast.
Berhampur Sadar police have reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
