Pur: Two persons were killed and more than 10 others injured in a group clash over a land dispute at Dimirisena village under Brahmagiri police limits in the district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Surendra Bhoi and Kalia Bhoi. The injured persons have been admitted to Community Health Centre (CHC) at Rebana Nuagaon.
According to sources, dispute between two families over laying water pipeline led to a violent clash resulting in the casualties.
Police have detained five persons in this connection and forces have been deployed in Dimirisena to maintain law and order.
