Balasore/Nuapada: At least three persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Balasore and Nuapada districts on Sunday.
In a tragic incident, two minor brothers were killed in an accident on NH-57 near Satasulia in Balasore district on Sunday morning.
The brothers have been identified as Kishore Das (16) and Swadhin Das (11) of Banida area under Jaleswar police limits.
According to sources, the two brothers were going a motorcycle when a dumper truck coming from the opposite direction rammed into them near Satasulia square.
The two sustained critical injuries in the road mishap and were rushed to a hospital by locals. However, doctor declared the two brothers brought dead.
In an another incident, a man was killed in a road accident near the Khariar Road petrol pump on Sunday.
As per sources, the accident took place as a tourist bus hit the two-wheeler, on which the man was traveling. The man died on the spot, following the accident.
Police reached the spot and seized the body as well as his bike. The man is yet to be identified.
