2 Minor Brothers Drown In Well In Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, two minor brothers drowned in a well at a village in Bhapur area of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

The incident reportedly took place at Natakata village under the jurisdiction of Bhapur police station in the district. The deceased, identified as Ranjit Pradhan (5) and Sanjit Pradhan (4), were missing since Saturday evening and their bodies were found floating in a well on Sunday.

As per sources, the parents of the two children had been to agriculture field for paddy harvesting on Saturday. After return from the paddy field, the couple found the boys missing.

A search operation was launched by the villagers and local police to trace the children.

The villagers found the bodies of the two children floating in a well on Sunday morning. Later, the bodies were recovered and sent for postmortem.
