Baripada: A brother-sister duo reportedly drowned in a pond at Jatipur village under Baripada Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.
The deceased children have been identified as Maalha Majhi (6) and her brother Kartik Majhi (2).
According to sources, the incident took place when the siblings went to the pond near their house to take a bath this morning.
On being informed, Baripada firefighters reached the spot and recovered the bodies.
