New Delhi: At least six people, including Delhi Aam Aadmi Party MLA Anil Jha and Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Abhay Patil, were injured in a road accident in Delhi on Sunday night. A car crossed a road divider and crashed into an SUV near the PWD headquarters on Vikas Marg near ITO, police said, according to a HT report. The two MLAs were travelling in the SUV.
The injured were taken to Lok Nayak Hospital and are in stable condition.
According to preliminary reports, the car that rammed into the SUV was being driven by a 32-year-old resident of Delhi’s Arya Nagar. The car was travelling towards ITO from Laxmi Nagar.
