Bhubaneswar: The Odisha selectors have picked two new faces for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy meet.
Amin I Khan and Mushtaq Beg have been named among 16 players who will travel to Mumbai for BCCI’s 50-over meet.
Abhishek Raut has been named captain, while Prabin Kumar Luha and Rajesh Dhupar are the two wicketkeepers in the squad.
The Odisha team will play two preparatory matches against Jharkhand at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium before leaving for Mumbai.
Odisha have been placed in Elite Group D, along with Baroda, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
Odisha will open their campaign against Uttarakhand on November 12.
