Cuttack: Two novels of noted Odia writer Umasankar Misra were released at Ramachandra Bhawan in the city on Thursday evening.
Eminent writer and social worker Dr Manorama Mohapatra released Misra’s novels ‘Prayaschita’ and ‘Paribrajana’ at a function.
President of Utkal Sahitya Samaj Tarun Kumar Sahu presided over the function while Sarala Sahitya Sansad founder and president Dr Prabhakar Swain graced the occasion as guest of honour. Prof Narayan Sahu was the chief speaker.
Among others, Dr Chitta Ranjan Panda and playwright Sanjit Kumar Patnaik spoke on the occasion.
