New Delhi: Odisha’s Girish Kumar Pradhan is among the nine officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to be chosen for the ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ for 2018. The other cop from Odisha to receive the award is Inspector Bikaram Keshari Jena.
A total of 101 Police Officers from across the country will be conferred with the award. The awardees include 12 women police officers.
This medal was constituted in 2018 with an objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and recognise excellence in investigation conducted by officers.
