2 Odisha IAS Officers Promoted To Apex Scale

Bhubaneswar: Two senior IAS officers of Odisha cadre have been promoted to apex scale by the state government.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA & PG) department, 1994 batch IAS officers G Mathivathanan and Santosh Kumar Sarangi have been allowed promotion to the Apex Scale in Level-17 of the Pay Matrix.

With this, both the officers have been elevated to the rank of additional chief secretary (ACS).

Mathivathanan, who was principal in Housing and Urban Development department, has been appointed in the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) and allowed to continue there until further orders.

Sarangi, who is now serving as Director General Foreign Trade (DGFT), has been given Proforma Promotion to the Apex Scale
