Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre with new postings for two senior officers.
While 2012-batch officer Poma Tudu was appointed as Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Smita Pani of 2020-batch has been posted as the new Managing Director of the Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL).
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, Poma Tudu, who was serving as the Managing Director of OSMCL, has been appointed as Additional Secretary to the Government in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department.
She will, however, continue to hold the additional charges of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and Managing Director of TDCCOL.
Smita Pani, who had recently joined the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, has been appointed as the Managing Director of OSMCL, succeeding Tudu in the corporation.
