2 Pilots Onboard US Navy Training Plane Killed In Alabama Crash

New Delhi: A Navy training plane crashed in an Alabama residential neighbourhood near the Gulf Coast on Friday, killing the two pilots.

The T-6B Texan II aircraft had flown out of Naval Air Station Whiting Field, about 30 miles northeast of Pensacola, Florida, Navy spokeswoman Julie Ziegenhorn was quoted as saying by News18.

The Navy on its official Twitter handle confirmed that no civilian has been injured in the mishap.

The US Department of Defence and the Navy will handle the investigation, tweeted Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
