Puri: Two private coaching centres in Odisha’s Pilgrim Town were sealed on Friday for flouting COVID norms.
Puri police tweeted to inform that there were heavy gatherings in these centres.
Puri district is in orange zone with 1366 active COVID cases. It has been reported close to 300 cases for the past two days.
Notably, AR Creation Coaching centre at Link Road in Cuttack was sealed on Thursday for conducting offline classes.
The Odisha government had ordered for closure of all educational institutions from January 10 in view of the spiralling COVID cases. Coaching institutions, organisations and individuals offering tuition were asked to stop taking offline classes.
