Khurda: Police here on Wednesday arrested two persons and seized 97 stolen cell phones, one laptop and a tab from them.
The arrested were identified as Sridhar Prahraj of Pasara village in Kandhamal district and Trinath Nayak, hailing from Barudipasi village in Keonjhar district.
On July 18, owner of a mobile phone shop at Khurda town had lodged a police complaint after being looted of cell phones worth several lakhs of rupees. Acting on the complaint, police carried out raids at different places and managed to nab the thieves.
Several cases of robbery are pending against the duo at different police stations in Bhubaneswar and Khurda, police sources said.
