Berhampur: Two women were crushed to death under a threshing machine after the tractor in which they were travelling overturned at Amundi village under Patrapur K Nuagaon police station limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday evening.
The threshing machine was attached to the tractor.
According to sources, the women were critical injured as the machine also overturned and fell on them. They were rescued by locals and rushed to the health facility at Patrapur. One among them, however, was declared dead. The other victim was shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here. She also succumbed to her injuries during the treatment.
