2-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling Into Water Vessel In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a tragic incident, a two-year-old girl died after falling into a vessel filled with water at her house in Rairakhol area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Thursday.

The incident reportedly took place at Dehuria Sahi in Rairakhol NAC area in of the district.

The deceased has been identified as Nabyanibedita, daughter of Bibekananda Beura and Subhasmita Beura.

As per preliminary information, the child was playing in the house when she accidentally fell into the water vessel. Other family members failed to notice it as they were busy in household work.

Unable to find the girl after some time, her parents launched a frantic search in the house. The child was subsequently found in the water vessel.

The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital by her parents and neighbours. However, doctors at the hospital declared her ‘brought dead.’
