2 Youths Die After Drowning In River In Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: Two youths drowned to death while taking a bath in a river at a village in Badachana area of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Tuesday.

Sources said the incident took place when the youths were taking a both in Genguti river near Radhadeipur village. The deceased were identified as Amit Khandai and Malaya Nayak.

Three youths had gone to the river, but two of them slipped deep into the water and went missing. After a search operation, the two were pulled out by locals and rushed to a hospital at Badachana where the doctors declared them dead.

After getting information, police personnel from Badachana visited the spot and launched an investigation.
