Boudh: Two persons were killed in a collision between two motorcycles in Odisha’s Boudh district on Sunday.
According to sources, the victims, identified as Naveen Danta of Suliagaon and Soumya Ranjan Panigrahi of Kantamal, both under Kantamal police limits in Sonepur district, had gone to Makar Mela at Palasgara in Boudh district in the morning.
While they were returning in the afternoon, two other bikers coming from opposite direction collided with them at Dhankhandi square on Manmunda-Kantamal road in Boudh district. While two of them died on the spot, two other sustained critical injuries.
On being informed, police went to the accident spot and sent the injured persons to district headquarters hospital at Sonepur. The condition of the injured was stated to be critical.
The police sent the bodies for post-mortem. They have registered a case and launched an investigation.
