2 Youths Killed, One Injured In Road Mishap In Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: Two youths were killed and another was critically injured in a road accident in Odisha’s Bargarh district on Friday.

According to sources, the accident took place when three persons were going on a motorcycle through Buromunda village under Gaisilet police station. The bike rider going in high speed lost control and hit a roadside tree in the village.

None of the three persons was wearing a helmet at the time. On the impact of hitting the tree, all of them were thrown off the bike to a distance and came crashing down on the ground. Two of them died on the spot while the third person sustained critical injuries.

The deceased persons were identified as Narottam Podha of Buromunda and Bibhisan Thapa of Larmamunda under Gaisilet police limits while the injured person is Mahadev Jhakar of Buromunda.

On being informed, a police team went to the spot and sent the injured Mahadev to a hospital at Padampur. They also sent the bodies for post-mortem and registered a case of unnatural death.
