Bhubaneswar: Two youths were crushed to death under the wheels of Puri-Howrah Express in Odisha’s Balasore on Tuesday.
According to sources, the duo was hit by the train near Bahanaga-Dandaharipur railway gate when one of the them went to rescue the other attempting to cross the tracks on a bike when the level crossing was closed for traffic.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, GRP has begun a probe in connection with the mishap.
